  • Also called "ethnicity"
  • A concept that groups people based on common culture, language and location
  • Race is a dynamic concept
    • No hard and fast rules to determine someone's "race"
    • Race is created and destroyed over time by politians to suit ruling needs

State​

  • A political entity

Nation​

  • A cultural identity that brings pride or shame to people sharing the same "national identity"
